I –Roll Call:

Teams present:  Rocking Flamingos, Ravens, Lunachicks, Fury, Sisterhood, Renegades, and Red Bulls FC

Teams Absent:  X’treme

 

II – Communication Reports from Board Members:

A.    President: Ericka Barquin

1.      Ask Will if we have already paid for fields for Tournament – October 2nd $450 on bank statement that might be the payment

2.      Send email to players looking for a team on the website about entering the tournament

 

B.     Vice President: Jennifer Reeves: absent

 

C.     Secretary:  Jen Pudsey: nothing to report.

 

D.    Treasurer:  Albania Macrae:

1.      Closing December, not including fees for Tournament, $3,300.

2.      Need information from Trudy to balance books

3.      Need goal rental fee for Soccer Resort from last year – possibly rent 6 sets of goals to them for $200 for the whole tournament.  Alberto will speak to them to see if it’s a fair price.

 

E.     Registrar: Teresa Mujica:

1.      Check turned in

2.      ATM Card

3.      Cindy (Sisterhood) is moving to another team

 

F.      FSSA Liaison: Heather Aguilar: absent

 

G.    Referee’s Liaison: Marie Amatuli: nothing to report.

 

H.    Games Rules Chairperson: Debbie Chin: nothing to report.

 

I.       Arbitration and Discipline Chairperson: Gail Markowitz: absent

 

J.       Marketing, Growth and Promotions Chairperson: Renia Perez: nothing to report.

 

III – Unfinished Business: 

A.    Park Research:

1.      Bania checked at the Soccer Park Preserve in Pembroke Pines. Asked a ref who is in with the Park.

 

B.     Fall Tournament:

1.      6 women’s teams confirmed

2.      1 team registered for coed Ball Breakers-Victoria Richardson

3.      Banner that goes at the park must have Broward County Parks logo on it.  Teresa is fixing banner that will be displayed at the park.

4.      Market tournament – 3 weeks left

5.      Teresa to contact Ref Assigner for tourney.

6.      Registration Deadline Mon, December 1st possibly extend to December 3rd.

7.      Erica will send email to players looking for a team from the website telling them about the tournament.

C.     Webmaster Update:

1.      Ericka has a player who’s boyfriend is a web designer.  He might do the web site in exchange for her to play for free.

 

 

D.    AED Machine:

1.      Bania and Ericka spoke with Will.  Waiting to hear from him. He is asking the safety division for info:

                                                                          i.      Who is certified and their availability

                                                                        ii.      How long would it take for them to get to the site of the incident

IV - New Business

 

A.    By-Laws on Website

1.      Ericka said the by-laws on the website are confusing.

                                                                          i.      Debbie Chin will check on the website

                                                                        ii.      Heather will check with the FSSA for updated By-Laws

B.     Drop Player

1.      A drop player should be deleted from the roster but not from the player pass list

C.     Taxes for the League

1.      Bania to ask Trudy about the taxes for the league

                                                                          i.      When is our fiscal year over?

2.      Stacy Ann is supposed to look at our taxes

D.    Update Game Sheets

1.      Update the game sheets with 20 spaces for roster.

2.      Debbie to check with Heather about roster sheets, can we make it 1 sheet instead of 3?

E.     Email and contact list of Board Members
